BLK WKS Studios Rorschach
Price range: $6.49 through $8.99
No two boxes are alike. The BLK WKS Rorschach is born from the floor of the Oveja Negra factory in Nicaragua, blended from whatever’s being crafted at the time. The result? A medium-bodied experience that shifts from smooth and savory to bold and peppery depending on the batch. Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. All-Nicaraguan core. Always interesting.
Available in three vitolas — sold as singles.
Description
Every Rorschach tells a different story. That’s the whole point.
When James and Angela Brown launched Black Works Studio in 2015, the Rorschach was one of the first three cigars released. Named after the famous inkblot test, it was created as the house blend at their Oveja Negra factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, built from a rotating mix of filler tobaccos leftover from other cigars being made on the floor. Core line blends, limited editions, whatever’s in production at the time. The result is a cigar that ranges from the smooth and savory, big and peppery, to strong and rich. It changes from box to box while never once compromising on quality.
“Rorschach started as our house cigar at the factory as its made up of a mix of all our different filler tobaccos. That’s the story behind the name, each batch is unique and up for interpretation, like a Rorschach image. It is a medium bodied cigar with a very unique and ever changing flavor profile,”- James Brown, Master Blender | Oveja Negra Brands
This is the cigar you reach for when you want something complex without commitment, satisfying without being overwhelming. It’s an ideal pairing for a pour of bourbon or a cold craft beer. Not sure what to pair it with? Check out our Cigar Pairing Guide for inspiration.
