Cavalier Genève Limited Edition 2026

Cavalier Genève released its first Limited Edition in 2018. It was a 500 box run of a 4 3/4 x 58 box pressed robusto gordo, and only 200 of those boxes ever reached US retailers. The series has run every year since, and the blend has never repeated. Neither, really, has the shape. The 2019 release shrank to 4 3/8 x 58. From 2020 through 2023, it settled into a 6 x 54 toro gordo. In 2024, it broke from the parejo shape entirely with a double perfecto and pigtail. By 2025, it had stretched to a 6 1/4 x 50 toro, the longest release yet.

Nine Years of Cavalier Genève Limited Edition

Production has grown too. That first 2018 run was 500 boxes. It climbed to 1,000, then 1,650, and by 2022 settled at 1,948 boxes, a number the company has held every year since. Because that figure references 1,948 degrees Fahrenheit, the melting point of gold, Cavalier Genève also presses a small gold foil diamond into the wrapper on many of its cigars, this one included.

This year marks the ninth release in the series. Cavalier Genève moves into a 6 1/2 x 47 parejo, a size that sits between a toro and a Churchill. As always, nobody’s saying what’s in the blend, and as always, they won’t repeat it once this run sells through. The company is making 1,948 boxes total: a little more than 1,000 go to the American market, while the remaining 900 go to international retailers.

Production: 1,948 boxes of 10 cigars, 19,480 cigars total. Once they’re gone, next year’s release starts the count over with a different blend and, most likely, a different size.
