Originally introduced in 2015, when HVC was using Aganorsa Leaf’s factory for all of their production, the Edición Especial was the company’s first departure from Nicaraguan puros, as it features a Mexican San Andrés wrapper.
Ten years later, Edición Especial 2015 is back with the same blend, although the cigar is now being made in HVC’s own factory, and all the vitolas are box pressed. The result is a medium bodied combination of rich and smooth, combining the best of a decade of working with Nicaraguan tobacco and San Andrés.
