Brew and Blend Coffee & Cigar Sampler

$40.00

Brew & Blend pairs seven Twin Engine Coffee roasts with cigars chosen to match each cup, not just placed next to it. Twin Engine sources every bean from Nicaragua, the same country responsible for some of the boldest tobacco in our humidor, and roasts them at origin. Each roast below comes with three cigar recommendations built around body, flavor, and finish. This one is built for sharing: brew a full pot, invite a couple of friends over, and let a slow afternoon do the rest.

Description

Brew & Blend Coffee & Cigar | Twin Engine Pairings

Brew & Blend isn’t built for a solo cup. Make a full pot, invite a couple of friends over, and let a few hours of good company do the rest. Coffee and cigars share more than a lounge: both start with a single crop, grown in specific soil, shaped by the hands that pick and process it. Twin Engine Coffee builds every roast in Brew & Blend around that idea. Every bean comes from Nicaragua, the same country behind some of the most respected tobacco in the humidor. Furthermore, each of the seven roasts below comes with three cigars chosen specifically for that cup. Pour a round, pass the cigars, and see where the afternoon goes.

The Estate — Breakfast Roast

This is Twin Engine’s flagship cup, roasted light to let it shine. Farmers grow it high in Nicaragua’s Isabelia and Dariense mountains. The same family has worked this farm with Twin Engine since day one. Furthermore, every batch uses heritage Caturra and Bourbon Arabica, hand-selected from the year’s first pick of triple-canopy shade coffee. A bright citrus balance meets a chocolatey backbone underneath. It’s USDA Organic, hand-roasted, and built for an easy every-morning pour.

The Estate — Classic Medium

The same heritage Nicaraguan beans come from the same family farm, carried a shade darker here. As a result, the Caturra and Bourbon Arabica settles into a rounder, more balanced cup. The chocolate notes deepen, while that signature citrus lift moves to the background instead of the front. It’s a dependable middle ground for anyone who wants the Estate’s character without a dark roast’s intensity.

The Estate — Dark Roast

This is the Estate pushed into Rich & Dark territory: bolder, heavier-bodied, with the chocolate notes leaning toward cocoa and roasted nut. However, it still uses the same top-tier Nicaraguan Caturra and Bourbon Arabica. It’s organic and hand-roasted at origin, just carried further into the roast for drinkers who want more weight in the cup.

Honeybear

Honeybear is named for the “honey process” that gives it its character, not for any actual honey. After picking, the fruit-covered beans sun-dry for about a week. Meanwhile, the fruit’s natural sugars work their way into the bean. The result is a medium roast with a soft sweetness and a full, rounded body. It’s organic, Fair Trade, hand-stamped, and roasted at origin in Nicaragua.

Cuban Style

Cuban Style is built around the cafécito, the strong, sweet, unmistakably Cuban way of taking coffee. It starts with organic Nicaraguan Arabica, roasted Rich & Dark until it’s bold enough to stand up to cane sugar. Even so, it still finishes smooth. Years spent studying the tradition went into this one, made for anyone who wants their coffee to hit hard and finish easy.

Cigar No. 1

Cigar No. 1 grows in the mountains above Estelí, Nicaragua’s cigar country. In fact, this same coffee gets poured for the rollers themselves every day. Notes of chocolate, molasses, and leather give it a profile built to sit alongside a good cigar. It’s bold up front and smooth on the finish. It also comes in Classic Medium or Rich & Dark, depending on how much weight you want in the cup.

Elefante

Elefante is a rare one: Arabica Maragogype, the largest coffee bean in the world, from a single Cup of Excellence finalist farm in Dipilto, Nicaragua. Twin Engine found this small-lot, single-varietal producer in their first year in the country. Therefore, it’s released in limited quantity each harvest. It’s roasted Classic Medium to bring out its signature creaminess, closer to a single-vineyard reserve than an everyday cup.

Paired with: Porcelain Corona · Seleccion Privada Cazadores · Ceathair

Every cigar named above is already in the humidor, ready to go. If you’d rather build your own pairing from scratch, our Cigar Pairing Guide breaks down the basics of matching roast to wrapper. Grab both halves of Brew & Blend in the shop, then find a porch, a patio, or a spot in the lounge and make an afternoon of it.
